With the coming Children Festival, the Labor Union of Poly Technologies Inc. held a series of theme activities， which were full of childlike interests and dreams. The activities included special lectures on children health, role-play of “little doctor” and collection & exhibition of children paintings.

On 5th, June, Poly Technologies collaborated with AMCARE Hospital for the ‘happy doctor’s day’ role-play activity. 17 groups of employees’ children, aging from 4 to 12, role-played doctors with great joy and were finally awarded ‘Qualified Little Doctor’ issued by AMCARE.

The activity was held with full consideration of the characteristics of children: the pediatricians explained in a lively way the formation of tooth decay, the protection of teeth and the correct method of brushing teeth. Under the guidance of doctors, the children acted as doctors in turn, bravely taking stethoscope to hear their own heartbeats and thus their fears for doctors were alleviated.

After on-site training, the little doctors asked their parents to lie on the dental chair and check teeth with endoscope seriously.

In order to eliminate parents’ concerns and puzzlement after the incident of “problematic vaccines”, as well as help them arrange safe vaccination for their children, Poly Technologies specially invited Doctor Li Ying, a 20-year-experienced pediatrician, to lecture young parents on children diseases prevention and immunization.

During the lecture, Doctor Li Ying explained to the young parents the differences between A type vaccine and B type vaccine, the choice between domestic vaccine and imported vaccine, and precautions and contraindications about vaccine. The audience and the expert interacted frequently.

In addition to the caring of children’s health, the labor union also organized ‘World in the Eyes of Poly Babies’, a painting collection contest. This collection consisted of two groups, Under-6 group and 6-14 group.

So far, the Poly babies have been active in taking part in the collection and some of the works are very expressive, full of innovative ideas and outstanding characteristics.

After the collection, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 5 third prizes have been awarded according to the online vote. The contest served as a good opportunity for Poly babies to show their painting talent.

The activities in June were well-organized and vividly-presented, receiving warm welcome and excellent feedback from employees. They not only helped spread medical common sense to parents, but also played an active role in enlightening and developing children’s potential interests.
