On 9th October, Poly Technologies Inc. organized around 30 people, including the corporation’s retirees and their family members, to climb mountains in Huairou, a suburban region in Beijing, for the celebration of the Double Ninth Festival. The activity enriched spiritual life for the retirees and carried forward the traditional Chinese philosophy of respecting the elders.

It was a typical Autumn day in Beijing. The breeze was gentle and the sun warm. The retirees came at first to Qinglong Gorge. They took cable car to the summit, enjoying the landscape passing by and recalling their past. After taking photos in Qinglong Gorge, they took bus to Huairou Provence Lavender Manor, where vast booming lavenders, chrysanthemums and cockscombs were extremely eye-catching. Inspired by such beautiful scenery, the retirees couldn’t help photographing among the flowers with a wish to commemorate the happy moment.

During the activity, Guo Lifang, deputy general manager of the department of Party Affairs, the organizer of this event, along with her colleagues, reported on the latest development of the corporation, extended gratitude to the retirees for their contributions and supports，and wished them happy life and longevity.

The retirees participated in the event expressed their thanks for the concern of the corporation, complimenting that the activity was a celebration of the festival and a good opportunity to strengthen body. Besides, old friends who could hardly meet each other after retirement, reunited to communicate their life sentiment. After the activity, the retirees have posted their photos online, sharing their happy moments with others.
