On Dec.11th, young volunteers organized by Poly Technologies came to Oriental Philanthropy Children Welfare Association in Beijing for the theme activity of “Approaching You, Warming Me”, which participated by around 30 young volunteers from Party-Masses Department and other departments.
Oriental Philanthropy Children Welfare Association, a private-run and non-profit social welfare organization with a tenet of “All for Children”, provides life-support services, rehabilitation trainings, medical treatment and education to 104 abandoned children. Mr. Han, secretary of the Association, expressed his gratitude to the volunteers. He elaborated on the condition of the Association and guided them to visit children’s activity and resting lounge.
The volunteers presented orphans and disabled children from 3 to 6 years old with warm clothes and food. They also merged themselves with the children, chatting and playing happily with them. Accompanied by the music of “Little Apple”, the children showed a performance of dancing, not excellent but oozing their innocence. They addressed the young volunteers as “Papa” or “Mommy”, which made the youngsters experience great responsibility.
The visit to Children Welfare Association is a charitable deed of young volunteers in Poly Technologies to fulfill their social responsibility and devote their love to people in need, representing the spirit typical in a new generation of Poly staff. Everyone vowed that in the rest of their life, they would give a hand to underprivileged social groups, letting the goodwill of Poly staff flow.
