POLY TECHNOLOGIES DONATES A SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM TO A UGANDAN

Recently, Poly Technologies held a signing ceremony for donation of a solar energy system to a Ugandan school in new Poly Plaza. Cao Wensu, chairman of the trade union of Poly Technologies and Charles, ambassador to China from Uganda represented two parties and signed the donation agreement. Philip, the first secretary of the Ugandan Embassy to China, responsible personnel of the Third Export Department, the Party-Masses Department and Poly New Energy Company all attended the ceremony.
Kawanda School is located in Sembabule, Uganda, which consists of 1,063 students and 33 classrooms. In order to solve lighting problems in the classroom and improve the study conditions, Poly Technologies dispatched technicians to Uganda twice for conducting on-spot investigations. Later, Poly proposed a technical proposal of donating the solar energy system to Kawanda School. After the establishment of the system, all the classrooms will be equipped with LED lighting and the power supply will sustain the operation of all the computers, printers and photocopiers. The teaching condition will be greatly enhanced. The donation is another active move of Poly Technologies to support child education in Africa and fulfill its social responsibility in overseas countries as a state-owned enterprise.
