PRESS CORPS OF 22 MAINSTREAM MEDIA FROM AFRICA VISIT CHINA POLY

On May 20, journalists of mainstream media from 22 African countries, including Tanzania, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique and Nigeria, paid a visit to China Poly Group Corp. Leaders present at the activity included Vice President Wang Lin , Mr. Han Tian, deputy general director of the Publicity Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), Mr. Wang Xiaofeng, director of public diplomacy, Department of Information, the Foreign Ministry and representatives from China Africa Press Center, SASAC News Center, Administration Office, International Cooperation Office, News Center of the Group Company, as well as Poly Technologies, Inc.
The press corps first arrived at the New Poly Plaza and visited the Poly Art Museum, feeling the charm of Chinese culture from the bronze Buddha statues. Afterwards, the guests watched the advertising video of the Poly Group and the advertising video of the public benefit activities in Africa conducted by Poly Technologies, Inc.. On behalf of the Poly Group, Wang Lin extended his welcome to the press corps and briefed them about the Poly Group and Poly’s business operation in Africa, and answered the questions raised by the journalists. During the process, the journalists asked a lot about Poly’s business in their own countries.
The press corps was most impressed by Poly’s meticulous arrangement and hospitality, Poly’s achievements in investment cooperation in Africa and the public good activities Poly has conducted in Africa. “This is a rare learning opportunity. Poly leaves me a deep impression”, said Elias, chief political reporter with The Citizen of Tanzania.
It was learned that the reporters of mainstream media from 22 African countries came to China on the invitation of China Africa Press Center. They would stay in China for one year to learn about Chinese enterprises and projects. Initiated by Department of Information under the Foreign Ministry and the Publicity Bureau and News Center of SASAC and organized by China Poly Group Corp. and Poly Technologies, Inc., the activity achieved a great success. Through this activity, Poly displayed its positive image to the reporters from 22 African countries, which laid a good foundation for Poly to cultivate a sound public opinion environment and social image and won the praise from the leaders of the Foreign Ministry and the State Council SASAC.
