Dulan County Farming, Forestry and Poverty Alleviation and Development Bureau held a ceremony of Poly Technologies donating some solar street lamps to Dulan County for poverty reduction and turning-on in Sept.5 in the No.1 Middle School of Dulan County, where Mr. Cao Wensu the chairman of Poly Technologies Inc’s labor union, Mr.Ma Yong’an the head of Dulan County and Mr. Zhang Bingyu the vice head were present. What’s more, the personnel concerned from the Audit and Supervision Department, Integrated Management Department and Poly Solar Technologies Co. and some leaders of Dulan County Farming, Forestry and Poverty Alleviation and Development Bureau Education Bureau, and the leaders, teachers, and students of the No.1 Middle School of Dulan County attended it. The success of the ceremony marked successful completeness of the solar public welfare project and students-helping project in Dulan.

Dulan County is located in poverty area in Qinghai Plateau. There are 107 villages under the jurisdiction of this county, which includes 43 poverty villages and 1094 poor households. There are more than 1300 students in the No.1 Middle School and Xiariha Primary School, but there is no night lighting, so it’s very inconvenient for the students there. Poly Technologies funded the two schools for donating 58 solar street lamps, which solved lighting problem for the students for their attendance of night lessens and morning exercises in winter. The LED lights illuminate main roads and create a bright environment for the teachers and students on campus. Besides that, Poly Technologies also donated 16 solar street lights to Hebei Village of Xiriha County and Zhamari Village of Reshui County, which solved the problem of no night lighting by the main roads there and improved locals’ living conditions.

During the donation ceremony, the vice head of Dulan County government Zhang Bingyu who represents Dulan government thanked Poly Technologies for the positive contribution for promoting the development of education and improving people’s livelihood. A student representative was also in gratitude for Poly Technologies in his speak for their help, admiring that they were the envoy of light and gave the students spiritual inspiration. Cao Wensu represented Poly Technologies to express thank to government leaders, teachers and implement team from Poly Solar Technologies Co. for their support, and she said that Poly Technologies would continue to funding the poverty areas especially the education there and warming more people who need help by love. After the ceremony Poly Technologies also donated more than 100 books to the two schools for enriching students’ extracurricular life.

The public welfare projects of solar street lamp production, processing and transportation installation was organized by the Poly Solar Technologies Company. The energy saving and environmental protection of the equipment accorded with the concept of building ecological civilization. Our members of Poly came to Dulan County located in Qinghai Plateau after a long distance travel to fund students for their study and alleviate poverty, which not only meant positive contribution to the education and poverty alleviation in Qinghai Province, but also embodied Poly’s enterprise tenet of contributing to the society by practice and abiding by accord development.
