STAFFS FROM POLY TECHNOLOGIES ATTENDED TRAININGS ON STRATEGIC TRADE
MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE IN THE U.S.

From April 4th to 12th, Poly Technologies set a team comprised of Department General Manager to participate in the 22nd Training Session on Strategic Trade Management and Compliance organized by Center for International Trade and Security (CITS) in Georgia University, the U. S. This is the forth batch of staff to attend the same training program.
The team attended related trainings along with over 60 government officials and corporate managers from 20 nations in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. The training covered contents such as multilateral treaties and mechanisms of non-proliferation, regulations of strategic trade management (legal basis, licensing system, law enforcement, etc.) in countries and regions like the US and EU as well as the systematic establishment of trade regulation and compliance inside the enterprises. Except for all-the-time features of rich content, compactness and high efficiency, the training paid more attention to practicality and interaction with the audience this time. During the class, government officials and corporate managers exchanged views and experience on international trade compliance mechanism in their own countries and the establishment of trade compliance and regulation system in their companies.
Poly Technologies has always laid emphasis on international trade compliance and the domain of non-proliferation. To strengthen staff’s awareness of trade compliance and non-proliferation, the enterprise has, for three times, sent personnel to Georgia University, the US for trainings and face-to-face communication with professionals, government officials and corporate representatives in the specific domain in 2014 and 2015.
Before, on Mar. 16th, Poly Technologies specially invited three experts from CITS of Georgia University to Beijing, who gave training courses to all the staff about international trade compliance and non-proliferation. Through citing concrete cases across the globe, they spread globally advanced experience and practices, enhanced trainees’ understanding of international trade compliance and offered professional guidance on how to fulfill the responsibility of trade compliance in actual practices.
According to the agenda, the team visited Journalism School of Georgia University. They also conducted exchanges and discussions with the executive director of CITS in fields like cooperative construction of trade compliance and regulation system in Poly, establishment of a coordinated mechanism with international media, cultivation of related professional teams, etc. These moves created favorable conditions for Poly Technologies’ further specialization and standardization in strategic trade management and compliance trainings.
